About TappingBPM.com

A free, fast rhythm toolkit for musicians, DJs, producers, and video editors — built to answer one question in seconds: what is the tempo?

Why TappingBPM exists

Most online tap tempo counters suffer from mobile touch lag, lack decimal precision, and require opening a separate calculator just to find reverb pre-delay and echo timings in milliseconds. TappingBPM was built to solve that frustration: one page to tap a tempo, see the exact BPM, and immediately get the studio numbers you need — half-time and double-time, millisecond intervals, and delay times — without installing anything or creating an account.

What you can do here

  • Tap BPM Counter — find the BPM of any song by tapping, clicking, or pressing Spacebar, with decimal BPM, stability, and a saved tempo log in your own browser.
  • BPM to Milliseconds Calculator — convert any BPM to exact delay, LFO, and pre-delay times for straight, dotted, and triplet note values.
  • Online Metronome — practice at any tempo with a visual beat, accented downbeat, and audio click, or set it with Tap Tempo.

Privacy by design

All timing calculations run locally in your browser. We do not record, capture, or transmit microphone audio or personal files. Saved tempos are stored only in your own browser's localStorage and can be cleared at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details.
