Privacy Policy for TappingBPM.com

Effective Date: November 2, 2026

At TappingBPM.com ("we", "our", or "us"), accessible from https://tappingbpm.com, protecting the privacy of our visitors is one of our core priorities. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use our free rhythm tools, and how it is used.

1. Local Browser Storage and Zero Audio Recording

TappingBPM.com operates as a client-side web application. When you tap keys or touch your screen to calculate beats per minute (BPM), all timing calculations occur locally inside your device's browser. We do not record, capture, or transmit any microphone audio or personal files to our servers. If you use the "Save Current BPM to Log" feature, your saved tempo history is stored strictly inside your own browser's localStorage and can be cleared by you at any time.

2. Server Logs

Like standard web hosts, our hosting provider may keep server log files that record non-personally identifiable information such as browser type, date and time stamps, and referring pages, to help keep the site secure and performing well.

3. Analytics and Advertising Cookies

As of the effective date above, TappingBPM.com itself does not run Google Analytics and does not serve advertising, and therefore does not set analytics or advertising cookies. If analytics or advertising are added in the future, this policy will be updated before they go live, and any required consent controls will be provided at that time.

4. Your Data Protection Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we may hold about you. Because the tools run locally in your browser and we do not collect account data, most requests can be satisfied by clearing your browser's localStorage and cookies for this site.

5. Contact Us
