Set a tempo, press Start, and practice with a clean visual beat and audio click. No download, no sign-up. Use the Tap Tempo button to set the metronome from a beat you hear, or type a BPM directly.
Tap Tempo: tap this button on every beat. After 2 taps the metronome tempo updates; 4 to 8 steady taps give a stable tempo.
Set your tempo in BPM, choose beats per bar, and press Start. The first beat of each bar is accented (higher click + green dot) so you can feel the downbeat. At 120 BPM each beat lasts 500 ms (60,000 ÷ 120); at 60 BPM each beat lasts 1,000 ms. To find an unknown tempo first, use the Tap BPM Counter, then enter that BPM here. To get delay times for the same tempo, use the BPM to Milliseconds Calculator.
